10 Things you can do for your eyes

  1. Receive an annual eye health examination from your optometrist.
  2. Receive an annual physical from your family doctor.
  3. Exercise regularly.
  4. Don’t smoke.
  5. Eat a well balanced diet, high in fruits, vegetables and antioxidants.
  6. Take a regular multivitamin (containing lutein).
  7. Wear quality sunglasses.
  8. Wear safety glasses.
  9. Don’t overwear or abuse your contact lenses.
  10. Always read under good lighting.
